I'm Tian de Klerk — a data engineer and engineering leader in the Netherlands, and a home lab and home automation tinkerer in my spare time.

This is where I write down what I've been building and figuring out: AI agents, self-hosted infrastructure, and the automation that runs my house. Most writing about AI is about the technology; I'd rather write from inside the work, with the tools I actually use.

The whole site is plain files in a git repository, so I often draft and edit it alongside the same AI models I write about. If something here is wrong or you just want to talk shop, get in touch.
